LISSETTE, CEO / Education Director (Branch Campus)

Lissette is an accomplished makeup artist who has dedicated her 28-year career to makeup artistry and makeup artistry education. Born in Havana Cuba, Lissette arrived in the United States as a young girl with the drive and determination to be something big. Known for her diverse repertoire of techniques and exquisite fashion instinct, she began building her brand through years of dedication and by catering to the local socialites of Las Vegas and world famous celebrity clientele. Over her career, Lissette’s work has been featured in fashion shows, television, red carpet events, and print including Vogue, In Shape, Luxury, Vegas, to name a few. In addition, Lissette has collaborated with numerous legendary hair stylists.

Ready for the next chapter in her journey, in 2010 Lissette founded the first makeup artistry school in Las Vegas, Nevada - passing on her skills to the next generation of makeup artists. As a former Educator and current Education Director, Lissette is dedicated to bring excellence to makeup artist education. In addition to developing the curriculum and educational standards for the L Makeup Institute, she is responsible for Branch Campus oversight and selecting and training all staff and faculty.

Lissette has made it her passion to be an advocate for makeup artistry. As a direct result of her efforts, makeup artistry is now recognized as a stand-alone industry in Nevada. Her commitment to every L Makeup Institute student’s education is one that prepares them for a successful career in makeup artistry.
