The entire faculty and staff are committed to providing support and opportunities that foster personal responsibility, healthy decision-making, and life-long learning. The Student Services Department is readily available to assist with housing, transportation, child care, financial assistance, academics, and career advisement, ensuring students and graduates have the resources they need to succeed. Comprehensive Makeup Kit

There is a makeup kit, and there is an L Makeup Kit!

At L Makeup Institute, to even be considered a top makeup school we understand the necessity of a comprehensive makeup kit to support the learning process. Assembling a professional makeup kit can be both costly and demanding. To facilitate this crucial step, we include, within the total program cost, a robust makeup kit tailored to each course of study – comprising a beauty makeup kit, a hair styling kit, an airbrush and body painting kit, and an SFX makeup kit. Along with necessary lab supplies, tools, rolling cases, textbooks, and materials, the kit offers over 500 meticulously selected items by our seasoned experts, ensuring you have everything required to successfully complete your program and kickstart your career.

Our kits feature only the finest products from leading professional makeup brands. Having a comprehensive understanding of the right makeup products and mastering their application is crucial for achieving professional-level results and advancing your skills in the makeup industry.

Photography Studio

L Makeup Institute is equipped with a professionally-lit and equipped photography studio specifically tailored to enhance makeup visuals through photography. Our instructors collaborate with you to master the use of lighting and filters, ensuring your work is showcased at its finest. Additionally, you’ll gain insights into set behavior, how to follow a client or photographer’s guidance, and the art of positioning your client or model to capture the desired aesthetic. As a part of the visual industry, your portfolio serves as a pivotal showcase for potential employers and clients to witness the full scope of your creative talents.

Student Lounge

The L Makeup Institute’s student lounge and learning resource center offer a vibrant and supportive environment designed to enhance the educational experience of its students. The student lounge serves as a relaxing space where students can take a break, socialize with peers, and share creative ideas outside of the classroom setting. It is well-equipped with comfortable seating, snack and beverage vending machines, refrigerators, microwaves, and an ambiance that encourages camaraderie and collaboration among students. Meanwhile, the learning resource center is tailored to support students’ academic and practical learning needs, featuring a wide range of professional makeup and special effects resources. This includes access to workstations and printers, latest industry publications, tutorial videos, and a variety of materials.

Additionally, the faculty members are required to participate in continuous education and training programs to stay abreast of the latest trends and techniques in the industry. L Makeup Graduation

At L Makeup Institute, we’ve reimagined graduation to create a more meaningful and personal experience for our students and their loved ones. With five class starts per year and students traveling from all over the country to attend, our new format ensures that everyone gets the opportunity to celebrate their success at the conclusion of their program—no matter when they graduate.

With small cohorts we decided that instead of one large annual ceremony, we now host intimate, on-campus celebrations where friends and family are invited to step into the student experience. These events offer a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the journey each student has taken—from their first day to their final transformation. Guests can view student portfolios, tour the campus, meet the instructors, and see the incredible work up close, all while capturing unforgettable moments through photos and videos.

Each celebration is a heartfelt tribute to the dedication, creativity, and growth of our students, giving them the recognition they deserve and the chance to share their accomplishments in a truly personal way.
