Any U.S. citizen, national in the United States may apply for financial assistance for the award year July 1 – June 30. The Financial Aid Department has additional consumer information published by the U.S. Department of Education that describes federal programs available, student rights and responsibilities to eligible students.

To apply for financial aid at L Makeup Institute:
Students interested in financial aid at L Makeup Institute will need to complete the following steps:

  • Create your FSA ID Account, username and password combination used to log in to certain U.S. Department of Education websites and to sign the FAFSA electronically. If you’re a dependent student, both you and your parent would need to create an FSA ID. https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm
  • Apply for financial aid (grants and loans) to help you pay for college by submitting the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. School Code: “042698” https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa
  • If you are interested in applying for Federal Student Loan, you will be required to complete Entrance Counseling (a tool to ensure you understand your obligation to repay the loan), and sign a Master Promissory Note (agreeing to the terms of the loan). https://studentloans.gov/myDirectLoan/index.action

The results of your FAFSA and/or Direct Loan data will be sent directly to L Makeup Institute within 3 business days. You will be required to meet the admission requirements described on page 20 of the School Catalog before we can determine your financial aid eligibility at L Makeup Institute.
