Megan is a Texas native who began experimenting with makeup at a very young age. By the time she was in grade school Megan was fully immersed in anything creative; painting, sewing, sculpting, and even carpentry. Megan earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas in Technical Theatre where she studied all aspects of backstage work; including scenic painting, costuming, prop fabrication, and of course makeup.

Megan added to her artist platform by attending the Tom Savini’s Special Make-Up Effects Program. She exceled in her Fashion and Performance class where she incorporated her airbrush and body painting skills with her fabrication and costuming skills to create imaginative characters. Megan has built an extensive portfolio with a variety of fantastical pieces.

Over the last 6 years, Megan’spassion and commitment to her trade has opened up many doors for her professionally and allowed her to travel and work on various projects in film and production.  Megan looks forward to sharing her diverse experienceand artistic perspective with the students attending L Makeup Institute to help them achieve their education and career goals.
